Our friend, Mr David Kang 2024 11 15

Meeting Mr. David Kang again today was a delightful experience, rekindling memories of our time together during his tenure as our computer trainer. As a former officer of the People's Association, he played a pivotal role in bridging the digital divide in our office community, equipping many of us with essential skills that had become increasingly vital in the technology-driven environment.

David’s approach to teaching was not just about imparting knowledge; it was about fostering a sense of confidence and curiosity. He had a unique ability to make complex concepts accessible, often using real-life examples that resonated with us. His patience and enthusiasm were infectious, creating an environment where learning felt less like a chore and more like an exciting adventure. I still remembered the first time I successfully created a spreadsheet under his guidance in the late 1980s. The sense of accomplishment I felt was largely due to his encouragement and support.

Beyond his role as pA Head of Computer Section in the 1980s and a trainer, David has been our long-time friend too.
